Eligibility & Requirements

Must bring two proofs of Residency: Vehicle Registration for each vehicle getting a Resident Permit Sticker and one of the following:

• Drivers License
• Property Tax Bill
• Current Utility Bill showing current address and person's name

Sticker must go on back Bumper, Driver Side of Vehicle so Police can see easily (so you don't get a ticket).

You must pay Town of Hamburg Property Taxes - not school taxes. You might have a Hamburg Mailing Address but this is just a mailing address and had nothing to do with your Residency.

2024 Permit Fees

• $30 for Adults
• $13 for Seniors (55 and Up)
• $15 for Guest Day Pass
  • Must with a Resident with Proof at the time of Purchase, and the guest must have their Vehicle Information and License Plate number
  • Only one person per day per Resident, and must have purchase/hold a current Season Beach pass
  • To get Military Discount, you must show Military Card (only good for that person).

Adjacent to the swimming area is a boat launch, available to all Town of Hamburg residents who have obtained a boat launch permit sticker. Permits can be purchased at the Hamburg Fitness Center located on the grounds of the Hamburg Town Park. Docks will be installed if lake levels are at an appropriate depth. If docks are not installed, boaters will be discouraged from launching large vessels. A signed waiver of liability is required when applying for a boat launch permit.

In addition to the regular boat launch, a special area has been set up for windsurfing.

• $50 for Each Additional Permit in Same Household
