Mission Statement
The Town of Hamburg Drug Free Communities Coalition is comprised of collaborating community members in an effort to promote responsible decision making that will lead to the prevention and reduction of substance abuse. In March 2014, the Town of Hamburg identified the need for a hands on, grassroots, community coalition that would actively address the increasing substance abuse concerns faced by the local and regional community. Moreover, it is the primary objective of the Town of Hamburg Drug Free Communities Coalition to enhance collaboration between local government, school districts, providers, stakeholders, and residents as a means to effectively address the ever-changing substance abuse prevention needs of the community.
