Services are available to income eligible residents of the Town of Hamburg,
including income eligible residents of the Villages of Blasdell and Hamburg.
Our "First Time Homebuyer" program is available to ALL
income eligible persons/families regardless of their current residence!
Hamburg Community Development has its "Homeless Prevention" program to assist residents.

Hamburg Community Development has contracted with the
"Legal Aid Bureau of Buffalo" as well as "Neighborhood Legal Services"
to provide free legal assistance to qualified residents dealing with evictions.

TOWN OF HAMBURG
INCLUSIONARY ZONING LAW!
The "Inclusionary Zoning" law passed in May, 2016 by the Town of Hamburg
as part of its FAIR HOUSING and ZONING laws is currently in force.
(Affordable rental housing in all NEW multifamily developments of eight (8) or more units)
The Department of Community Developments is tasked with the enforcement of this law.
Contact the Department of Community Development at (716) 648-6216 for the required paperwork in this regard.
If you are planning a multi-family project within the Town of Hamburg,
check the towns code at Chapter 109 - Section 11 OR Chapter 280 - 51.1
