The Town's Department of Community Development has many different Housing Programs to assist its residents and non-residents.  If you are looking to buy your first home, the Town of Hamburg has a "First Time Home Buyer" program, which conditionally grants up to $20,000 to purchase an existing home within the Town of Hamburg (includes the Villages of Blasdell & Hamburg as well as Lakeview, Woodlawn, etc.).  For specific details of the First Time Home Buyer "conditional" grant program, please go to the Community Development department website under "Municipal Departments" or click on the following link to go directly to the application for the program: Application 1st Time Buyer Grant

If you already own your own home within the town and are looking to complete repairs to that home, the Town of Hamburg has a "Housing Renovation Grant program".  Income limits vary per family size.  You can go to the specific program application at the following link: Application Homeowner Renovation
