Full Time Positions:

A majority of full time municipal positions are filled through the use of Erie County Civil Service listings, unless a position is deemed elected, appointed, exempt, or if a list does not exist. For appointed and exempt positions, individual departments generally perform their own hiring. If a civil list does not exist, the position is advertised and a candidate is provisionally appointed until the exam for the position is available. Refer to the Erie County Department of Personnel for further information regarding tests being offered.
