Mailbox Replacement:

The town will replace a standard post and mailbox if it is damaged by a town highway plow. It will not replace custom-built, ornamental or plastic mailboxes. The town also will not replace mailboxes damaged by the weight of the snow.

Plowing Onto the Highway:

Under the NY State Vehicle and Traffic Law it is illegal to plow snow from a driveway onto the road. Any violators of this law will be prosecuted. When plowing out your driveway, think of the hazard you may be creating for drivers.

Parking:

Parking is prohibited on town and county roads from Nov. 1 to April 1 from 1am to 6am. The town is not responsible for damage caused by town equipment to a vehicle that is in the town's right of way.
