Historic Preservation Commission

The Hamburg Historic Preservation Commission (HHPC) was created by the Hamburg Town Board in 2021 and its duties are defined in the town code. The Commission meets regularly and works to protect and enhance local landmarks which represent the town's historical, architectural and cultural heritage. The Commission recommends designation of landmarks to the Town Board and facilitates awareness of Hamburg history through education and signage.
