Hamburg LWRP Update

The Local Waterfront Revitalization Program Update:

The Town of Hamburg is in the process of updating its Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP). The existing LWRP was adopted in 2012. The LWRP Update provides the Town with the opportunity to revise this 12-year-old planning document to better reflect existing conditions and areas for improvement along the Lake Erie and Eighteen Mile Creek waterfronts. The LWRP sets forth priorities and identifies opportunities to help enhance existing land and water uses in the Waterfront Revitalization Areas. This includes public access and recreation, underutilized and abandoned properties, protection of water quality and natural resources, flooding and erosion, and other important elements that play a role in guiding future decision making for the waterfront areas.
