2025 Town of Hamburg Non-CFA Zoning Code Updates

The Town of Hamburg has started the implementation of the new Hamburg Comprehensive Plan. A Comprehensive Plan Implementation Committee (CPIC) was formed in 2023 and based on their work and recommendations in the Comprehensive Plan, the Town’s zoning code has begun to be updated. Some revisions of the code were completed in 2023, and others were proposed in 2024 (see CPIC report). The Town pursued a grant to accomplish some of the zoning updates and that grant was received. A consultant is being hired to complete those proposed zoning updates. The other prioritized updates have been assigned to the Town Planner who will work with the CPIC and other Town representatives on these updates.
